LEARN TO SWIM REGISTRATION - TERM 1 2024

Event description

Weipa Aquatic and Sports Precinct is proud to partner with Royal Life Saving by offering Swim and Survive as our core water safety education for all ages and abilities. Swim and Survive is a fun and dynamic swimming and water safety program that focuses on the development of swimming, personal survival, basic rescue and lifesaving skills. Swim and Survive aims to provide individuals with the required skills to lead safe and active lives in, on and around water.

• Classes cater for 6mths to teenage.
• Classes commence Monday 29th January for 9 weeks until Marach 27th subject to weather.
• Classes run for 30 mins.
• Cost $180.00 for 9 week block – to be paid online
• Class limits apply and are compliant with the Royal Life Saving Society swim school guidelines. Little Wonders (parent assisted classes have a limit of eight), Learn to swim levels 1-3 a limit of four students per class and Learn to Swim levels four to eight have a limit of six students per class.
• If classes are missed due to absence or illness there will be no refunds or make-up classes. Refunds will only occur due to weather restrictions or medical reasons, doctors certificates will be required.

In consideration of permission to participate in the Learn to swim program, I believe that to the best of my knowledge, my child’s state of health and physical condition is such that the proper use of the services provided in, will not pose any risk to their health or well-being. I acknowledge and agree that their use of the services, will be undertaken entirely at their own risk. I acknowledge and agree that I will not hold Weipa Town Authority liable for any injuries, losses, damages, costs, charges, expenses or liabilities what soever sustained, suffered or incurred by my child for any of the services provided by Weipa Town Authority
